Maringa tree – How to help poor people who suffer from malnutrition

IMG_1720.PNG

Did you know that the tiny leaves of maringa tree (moringa) could save so many lives?
That it grows mostly all over Africa, South America, India and other South East Asian countries?
That it has 7 times the vitamin C of an orange? 4 times the vitamin A of carrots? 4 times the calcium of milk? 3 times the potassium of bananas? 2 times the protein of yogurt?

A nice example on how knowledge on this tree, it’s growth and also via storytelling and communications can be distributed among poor and often less educated people in emerging countries I have found today on trees forklift.org. The material can be shared for free and get people’s buy in.

We should share this story, shouldn’t we?
