A successful outcome for our NGOs and ambassadors under the umbrella of the SCN India

Here, three women from tribal villages from KKID, one of the SCN partners, are proud of the good results they have achieved. They are very proud to receive certificates.

What an excitement among our System Changer Network India (SCN India) members!

Yesterday, in the early evening we have run a 30 minutes multiple choice test on all the topics we had trained during the year.

Would they be able to answer more than 70% in the right way – out of 62 questions?

Boehringer Ingelheim employees had engaged in the past 12 months in their free time to train several topics – from health and finance to cultural awareness.

Online sessions are not always easy, especially if you work with local NGOs and people who speak different languages and underserved community ambassadors who loose also their daily income when they come for the trainings to the local centers.

We are proud to have a great network on ground and a trustful relationship with them since we have started our very close collaboration nearly ten years back!

So, also we from the Making More Health initiative were very curious to see how this test would work.

The test result

We had more than 25 people who passed the “exam”. 23 out of them passed the 70%. Isn’t this great?

We congratulate all of you! Many thanks to my colleagues for this great engagement, too!

Why and what did we do?

Trainings on various health topics

With the launch of the System ChangerNetwork India (SCN India) 12 month ago, a network of 9 NGOs from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka trusting each other, have committed to collaborate, to share resources, to scale up various activities together thus multiplying the impact exponentially.

Trainings on financial knowledge, leadership and inclusion topics

We have started various trainings to empower the network and the ambassadors of the single organizations who bring the knowledge “to the communities on the ground – in many locations“.

But it is not just about sharing knowledge, it is also about getting a broader view, across the own borders. Nearly every month we run a cultural exchange club, an online session where underserved communities and local NGOs join to share about their own cultural understanding.

This program has an outstanding acceptance by the communities!

A program from community to community – cultural sharing

Now, during our annual SCN India meeting in Coimbatore, we have planned already the next training programs for the upcoming months – based on what our SCN members and community representatives ( ambassadors) really need!

There is definitely a lot of what business people can do and how they can support while collaborating in Majida ways with the NGOs – if you want to learn more and are interested to support, please contact!
