Our first Making More Health Leadership week this year in India has started two days ago. We visit several core partner NGOs from our System Changer Network India, interact with underserved communities, reflect and share also- based on their needs- some skills to empower them. The training given by us will be done by end of the week. Now it is the time to listen, to understand, to connect.

At the moment, we are at the Karl Kübel institute in Coimbatore, an organization that works with tribal villages and where we support/ run several projects with the tribal hospital and informal health centers, the MMH Anganwadi (kindergarten that play an important role in the health system).
Today, we are on the way to interact with scavengers families and to visit their homes, after getting an introduction of the challenges they have to live with by the SCN partner NGO Vizhugudal: hygiene issues on work, understanding the different governmental schemes, human rights awareness, mental health issues… we support Vizhudugal long term to bring more health to scavengers in more holistic ways.
