Since 2015 we run now the 28th Insights Week with Corporate managers from different countries „on the ground“ in India, interacting with vulnerable communities living at the poverty line.
Our first field visit in India has begun. For managers visiting from across the world, this is more than just a trip—it’s an immersion into real-world healthcare challenges and opportunities.
The day started early, at 6:30 am, in a beautiful setting with yoga sessions, emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and wellbeing. But soon after, we stepped into the realities of community health with a visit to an Anganwadi—a center that serves as a lifeline for maternal and child health in India.

Why This Visit Matters
Anganwadis are part of India’s Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) program. They provide:
✅ Early childhood nutrition & education
✅ Maternal healthcare & immunizations
✅ Health awareness and hygiene education
For those working in the healthcare sector, seeing an Anganwadi in action offers invaluable insights:
🔹 Understanding grassroots healthcare delivery – How prevention and early intervention happen in underserved areas.
🔹 Recognizing the role of frontline workers – The dedication of community health workers in making healthcare accessible.
🔹 Identifying challenges & opportunities – Firsthand exposure to gaps in infrastructure, supply chains, and patient education.

Real impact starts with real understanding. Being here, engaging with the community, and listening to their stories is the first step toward co-creating solutions that truly matter.
💡 What’s one experience that changed the way you think about healthcare?
