There are many young people, some locals, but also Indian tourist just enjoying the fresh ocean water. Fully dressed they sit in the water and enjoy the waves. A father and his son have a nice walk, obviously both being part of a wealthier background. In the background some women sit and chat.

A few meters away some very small colorful houses reflect a completely different social level. There live marginalized people – in very poor conditions. The women are washing clothes and dry them on the rocks. A man is washing his hairs. There is waste and dirt. Some children are playing (or washing). Somebody is taking a bath there. Life means contrast

It’s not far away from one of the richest parts of India where many Bollywood stars have houses.

It’s a point where everyone and everything meets. A lot of diversity. In all senses. It’s Mumbai. It’s India. It’s our world.
